The Official DLC are eight mods developed and released by Bethesda. They are not to be confused with Morrowind expansions, Tribunal and Bloodmoon.

They can be found listed here, below the Official Expansions:
Contrary to the DLC developed for later games, all Morrowind Official Plugins can be downloaded with no charge. They are not included into any of the expansions or releases of the game (GOTY, Steam, etc.)

We strongly recommend to use (fixed) Morrowind Official Plugins by WHReaper instead of the stock ones, which have a lot of dirty references and other problems associated with them. See the author's readme for details. While WHReaper's pack is the closest to original (with revamped graphics), there are also other options, some of which are listed below (under "notes").

Synopsis: Speak with Dulnea Ralaal in Balmora, Eight Plates on the topic "entertain the patrons". She will give you options to tell jokes, dance the high-kick, play the drum, play the lute and sing, or juggle.

Entertainers is a plug-in that adds an option to entertain the patrons to Dulnea Ralaal in Eight Plates in Balmora. You can perform a variety of tricks to receive a small cash reward.

Note: Adul made an upgraded version of this mod, Entertainers expanded, which allows a player character to entertain patrons in more than just one tavern.

Bitter Coast Sounds

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: Let the gentle chorus of swamp wildlife draw you further into the mire throughout the entire swampy region of the Bitter Coast. You'll find dragonfly creatures now inhabit the muck ponds along the coast.

Bitter Coast Sounds adds ambient noise and dragonflies all over the Bitter Coast region. It does not affect gameplay in any way, but merely makes the environment seem more swamp-like. The dragonflies added by this DLC are physical objects, not effects, and as such they have collision boxes. It is not recommended that you jump into a group of dragonflies, as you may find it hard to get out.

Note: you may want to use the superior Atmospheric sound effects mod instead, though it does much more than just adding Bitter Coast sounds.

Area Effect Arrows

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: Visit Aradraen the Fletcher in Vivec's Foreign Quarter Lower Waistworks for the world famous area effect arrows exclusive to her shop.

Area Effect Arrows adds a new shop selling a wide selection of quality Marksman weapons, all for sale at Aradraen's shop in the Lower Waistworks of Vivec's Foreign Quarter canton. The items added are available here and nowhere else, but fortunately, she has an unlimited supply. The projectiles included with this add-on are unique in that they will explode on impact, dealing fire, frost, shock or poison damage to any creatures or NPCs within range of the explosion.

Note: We recommend to use Area Effect Projectiles mod by BTB instead. Essentially this is a much more balanced version of the official plug-in, which is also free from numerous dirty references and useless edits of the original.

Helm of Tohan

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: The Adamantium Helm of Tohan is a rare and powerful artifact lost in the Sheogorad Region. Travel north to Dagon Fel to find out more about this legendary helm.

Helm of Tohan DLC includes a new quest to find the titular, legendary artifact. The quest can be started by asking for rumors around Dagon Fel. The helm is usable by beast races.

Master Index

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: This is a quest to find the ten propylon indices. In return for completing this quest, you will receive the Master Index, allowing the you to travel to any propylon chamber, or return to the Caldera Mages Guild from any propylon chamber.

Master Index DLC adds a much-needed questline to the rather inconspicuous and static (gameplay-wise) Mages Guild of Caldera. Once the quest is completed, the player character is rewarded with a master index, a magic item which allows teleporting from any Dunmer stronghold to Caldera, and back.

Note: You might be interested in Master Index upgrade mod, which allows you to use the Propylons without having to return to Caldera once you've completed the Master Index quest.

LeFemm Armor

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: LeFemm Armor, specially tailored for the ladies, is on sale at the Fighters Guild in Vivec, from Sirollus Saccus in Ebonheart, the Redoran Vaults, and the lady smiths in Ald-ruhn, Sadrith Mora, and Ald Velothi.

LeFemm Armor adds two new sets of armor, Domina Armor and Gold Armor, specifically designed for female characters. Additionally, the plug-in includes female models for four previously existing armors which used male models on female characters; specifically Imperial Steel Cuirass, Imperial Chain Cuirass, Netch Leather Cuirass and Steel Cuirass. Unfortunately, these female versions of the old armors were not actually implemented into the plugin, even though the models were added. There are 3rd-party mods which correct this oversight; additionally, they are present in the Tribunal expansion. The new armors may be worn by both male or female characters, but will look a little funny on men.

Note: you might be interested in Expanded LeFemm Armor mod by Moranar and tiebrakre, which greatly improves original models and textures, and makes it consistent with other better bodies - based armor. You may want to make an edit to the mod if you don't like Sirollus Saccus to wear golden armor.

Adamantium Armor

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: A new shipment of hard to find Adamantium Armor has arrived in places across Vvardenfell.

This DLC adds adamantium armor from Tribunal to various locations around Vvardenfell. Tribunal is not required to use the plug-in, as the models for the armor are included. The mod does not include an Adamantium Helm, however. It can only be obtained from either Tribunal, or the Helm of Tohan DLC, which adds a unique Adamantium Helm.

Note: as said above, users with Tribunal installed don't actually need this, unless they want adamantium armor to be available practically from the start. But they can still take the advantage of improved models and textures of this armor, supplied in already mentioned WHReaper's pack.

Siege at Firemoth

Main external article: UESP Wiki

Synopsis: The island fortress of Firemoth was taken by the skeleton army of Grurn years ago. It's time to take it back.

Siege at Firemoth DLC adds a small island chain southwest of Seyda Neen, and a small quest involving taking out a large army of skeletons. Unlike most areas in the game, this place is very combat-oriented - you may find yourself facing dozens of enemies at one time. At the end, you will face Grurn who is the leader of this army of the undead, and is also a powerful skeleton wizard. You will be rewarded with the Ward of Akavir, a shield with a constant effect Fortify Luck enchantment.
